Not all scientists wear lab coats. When we combine science and entrepreneurship, we unlock an amazing opportunity to turn ideas into CASH. But making the leap from an academic scientist to a founder of your own company can be daunting.
– How does one get started in entrepreneurship?
– What does it take to succeed?
– How do you know what you don’t know?
Buckle up because this August, two scientists who have successfully made the leap will be sharing their experiences in a virtual fireside chat.
Stream in as our founder, Dr. Juliana Chan, chats with guest speaker, Dr. Min-Han Tan, Founder & CEO of Lucence, on his journey in transitioning his research and technology from the lab to the marketplace.
In this one-hour session, we will:
⦿ Hear about the challenges, opportunities and pitfalls on the path towards entrepreneurship
⦿ Gain insights into the skills and mindset required to succeed
⦿ Explore opportunities for the STEM community to come together, and empower and support aspiring entrepreneurs
Prepare your questions ahead of time and fire away on 25 August 2023, 4pm.
Admission is complimentary. Simply register here to join the fireside chat.
